Over the last few founder updates, I’ve shared with you the engineering story behind ELITE-1: the materials, the grip, the fit, the compression, and the unique structure that ensures a near-perfect anatomical fit every time you wear it. But, as we get closer to launch, I want to show you something slightly different.

The way a product arrives says something about how seriously it’s been treated. Most football socks are presented as accessories, with little more than a size and a cardboard sleeve. But, we wanted the ELITE-1 to feel different from the moment you opened it. If we’re asking players to think about a sock as performance equipment, then the experience around it has to support that idea. That’s the standard we’ve tried to hold ourselves to.

So alongside the sock itself, every order will include three things:

The Mini Magazine. The broadest expression of Apex, taking a deeper look at the ideas that sit behind the brand. Performance, pressure, obsession, identity, fear, confidence, discipline, and the strange psychological forces that shape athletes long before they ever step onto the pitch. It exists because Apex was never meant to be only about what players wear. It’s about the human side of performance too - the ambition, the insecurity, the rituals, the standards, and the quiet internal battles that drive people to keep improving.

The Brochure. This is inspired by the product inserts that used to make football boots feel special. Something you’d actually read, keep and use to understand the details of what you’d just bought. It gives a cleaner breakdown of the technology inside the ELITE-1 (UltraDri, Density+, CompoundX, Gen-2 Exoframe, etc.) and explains how each one contributes to the overall performance of the sock.

The Wear & Care Guide. It explains how to ensure the best fit, how to protect the grip, and how to get the best out of the ELITE-1 over time. These are small details, but they matter. If a product has been engineered with this much intention, the way it’s worn and cared for should not be left to guesswork.

None of this changes the sock itself, but it changes the way it’s understood. And that matters to me, because the ELITE-1 has been built for players who treat the details seriously. Properly seriously.

At the professional level, nothing is just ‘equipment’. Boots are studied. Stud patterns are chosen carefully. Recovery protocols are planned. GPS data is reviewed. Nutrition, sleep, strength work, mobility, and load management are all treated as part of performance. The sock should belong in that same conversation.
